  • Diseases
Most plants can develop the same diseases in a hydro system as they can in dirt, but they can also display deficiencies and over doses much faster. Thankfully, they usually will recover much faster, if you catch them in time.

  • Plants
Most plants can be grown hydroponically, and there are some that can't. I have heard of people growing potatoes by allowing the tubers to grow on a mat of straw rather than in the nutrients. Also, hydroponics, like the Internet, has benefitted from the seedier side of humanity. Let's not discuss that.
